G.V.G.V. × OPENING CEREMONY MENS COLLECTION

Shot by Chad Moore, a rising photographer in NY

The visuals for the "G.V.G.V. × OPENING CEREMONY MENS COLLECTION" were shot in Brooklyn, New York, based on the image sources provided by G.V.G.V. designer MUG. The photography was handled by Chad Moore, a rising photographer described by Ryan McGinley as a "new star among NY downtown kids."

The theme for this collection is "SKIN." Sean Lisle (a model and OPENING CEREMONY staff member), adorned in the meticulously crafted pieces, became the subject. The result is a beautiful, photogenic series of images, capturing live moments with Moore's signature style.

Moore, who was in charge of the photography, reflected, "This shoot was really fun. We had some preliminary exchanges via email with Tokyo, and met to discuss the details the day before the shoot. Then we started shooting. Not everything was perfectly planned; it was very spontaneous and natural. The clothes were super cool and crazy, and it was cool to photograph Sean, as I’d seen him around but never actually met him until this shoot. It was a truly wonderful day."

All photos, including the main cuts that have been released, are available on the OPENING CEREMONY JAPAN website (http://www.openingceremonyjapan.com/). Additionally, a limited-edition ZINE is being distributed in stores to coincide with the launch of the "G.V.G.V. × OPENING CEREMONY MENS COLLECTION."
