Featuring a newly developed sole

From New Balance's iconic "99X" series, the popular "997" model, born as the fourth generation, has been updated. The new collection "997H" is now released.

In 2019, New Balance declared "Year of 9's," focusing on the brand's iconic "99X" series and developing various products.

This model is the first release. The "H" in the model name signifies "Hypothesis." The "997H" was born from the hypothesis: What would happen if the original "997," released in 1990, were re-examined from a new perspective and recreated with current technology?

While drawing inspiration from the upper design details of the original model, the sole unit features a newly developed sole with updated cushioning and lightness.

Another key feature is the wide range of colors and materials, including New Balance's heritage colors, sporty colorways reminiscent of the '90s, and women's-only options. The diverse lineup offers the pleasure of choosing the perfect pair to match your preferences and style.
