Short Film Celebrates Craftsmanship
American fashion brand J. Crew released two films this March. They were created to honor design, quality, heritage, and artistry, and to show respect for the people who bring J. Crew's designs to life.

Two Films to Understand J. Crew's Philosophy
The first film focuses on "Vitale Barberis Canonico," one of J. Crew's suit fabric mills.
Nestled at the foot of the Italian Alps lies Vitale Barberis Canonico, a family-run mill renowned for producing the world's finest fabrics since medieval times. J. Crew currently uses Canonico's fabrics for its "Ludlow Suit." This short film, rendered with delicate and rich textures, portrays the J. Crew Ludlow Suit as a testament to Canonico's tradition and heritage.
The other film is about the popular kids' line "crewcuts" (http://youtu.be/Eexi24KiwZE).
Crewcuts was born from the desire to create clothes that parents would be excited to buy and have their children wear. The world of crewcuts is defined by its vibrant colors, featuring vivid and unique shades like Sea Glass, Vibrant Fuschia, and Lime Sorbet.
Each short film was shot using high-definition digital technology. The visual beauty is also noteworthy.
