A Must-Have for Soccer Fans!
If you've ever played soccer, you'll surely recognize this mark. Diadora has been available at select high-end boutiques for the past two to three years.
Based on their classic running shoe designs, these sneakers gained popularity in their home country of Italy, and last year, a full-scale launch began in Japan. Diadora is now drawing attention as a fashion item.
This season's Spring/Summer models feature a total of 26 designs. The main model, "EQUIPE STONE WASH," which uses a stone-washing process for a vintage feel, now comes in 13 colors with 6 new additions to the traditional palette. This model, based on a running shoe produced in 1975, is their best-seller.
This is the "EQUIPE STRIPE SW" version, accented with stripes.
Two new colors have been added to last season's "EQUIPE NYL SW WAXED," bringing the total to four. These sneakers feature a soft, smooth fit thanks to the use of micro-padded nylon in the upper. They are finished with stone washing and handmade vintage processing.
Gaining rapid popularity in Europe, including Italy, is the "TRIDENT NY SW." The retro atmosphere is achieved by adhering to past specifications, such as using the same mold as the shoes worn by F1 pit crews for the outsole. It is set to be a staple item in Japan, following the EQUIPE STONE WASH, with a total of five colors available.
The "TEIDENT C DYED" model is based on the "TRIDENT" and features the entire canvas dyed. The shoes are lasted in a completely white state and then dyed in the final process. Available in green and blue.
Diadora shoes once captivated star athletes like Roberto Baggio, Marco van Basten, and Ayrton Senna. Perhaps those who were soccer boys in their youth are now delighted to see these shoes embraced as fashion.
