The Second Release of Dragon Ball Z and Adidas Sneakers, Inspired by Gohan and Cell


In the Fall/Winter 2018 season, the first collaboration collection between Adidas Originals and the immensely popular anime "Dragon Ball Z," titled "adidas Originals by Dragonball Z," will be released starting Saturday, October 27th.

Unique Designs Dressed in Character Colors




The first installment of this collection featured two models: the "ZX 500 RM DB," inspired by "Goku," and the "YUNG-1 DB," inspired by "Frieza." The second release introduces two new models: the "DEERUPT RUNNER DB," inspired by "Gohan," and the "PROPHERE DB," inspired by "Cell."

DEERUPT RUNNER DB

The "DEERUPT RUNNER DB" is an update inspired by "Gohan." The tonal purple expresses Gohan's distinctive battle suit, while the webbing mesh overlay and reflective graphics celebrate his evolution into a Super Saiyan. Additionally, the heel patch logo pays homage to Gohan's master, Piccolo, and Gohan's name is inscribed in Kanji on the heel webbing. The collaboration logo printed on the insole adds a special touch to the footwear.

PROPHERE DB

The "PROPHERE DB" represents Cell, Gohan's formidable adversary. It features the green color of Cell's exoskeleton, with purple accents inspired by his wings. The inside of the tongue is inscribed with Cell's name, showing respect to one of the most notorious villains in the Dragon Ball Z series.


Following the first installment, this second release continues to translate the identities of Dragon Ball Z characters into Adidas Originals' signature footwear. These creative and premium models are sure to delight fans.
