The latest collection pursuing texture and comfort.
The brand "BLACK & BLUE" started in the Spring/Summer 2010 season. Designer Masato Fukuhara says, "At its core are the clothes I want to wear and make. Clothes that are basic yet new, simple yet playful. While incorporating the essence of vintage clothing, based on my theoretical knowledge and experience as a patternmaker, I propose a style that fuses classical details with modern cutting."

Blue and Sand Beige are Key Colors
—What is the theme/concept for the Spring/Summer 2013 collection?
We don't particularly set a theme for each collection.
—Please tell us about the theme/concept.
For the past few seasons, we have been pursuing what Black and Blue considers basic. Design, color, and pattern are the main pillars of our manufacturing.
—What are the key looks (coordinations)?
Color coordination using light materials and layering that creates a light appearance.
—What are the key items?
The shop coat, which utilizes our original thin, draped fabric, achieved through a big silhouette and puckering from the sewing.
—What are the key colors?
As usual, we are using blue, seen in items like the big silhouette shirts, and this season, sand beige is also a key color.
—A message to your fans.
This spring and summer, we've pursued texture and comfort more than ever, so please visit our shops and try them on.
