Imperfections That Would Normally Lead to Rejection Set as New Quality Standards

This collection draws inspiration from manufacturing errors. Imperfections such as grainy graphics, asymmetrical prints that appear to be misprints, and unfixable wrinkles that look like they've set in shape have been re-defined as new quality standards, deliberately establishing them as the finished form.

The collection features adidas' signature color palette of black, bluebird, and core red, and introduces new key styles and silhouettes for women. Through Alexander Wang's lens, adidas staples are reborn in an avant-garde manner, including the half-zip AW Windbreaker, the AW Tank Dress suitable for sports courtside or street wear, and the new AW Trainer shoes inspired by multisport and running with their blend of colorful textures.

The campaign visuals were shot by photographer Brianna Capozzi and stylist Haley Wollens in an industrial coin laundry. Models Lexi Boling and Cat McNeil, favorites of Alex, strike playful, off-beat poses on counters and windowsills, mimic surfing on ironing boards, and stack laundry, creating a whimsical and unconventional atmosphere.
