The brand develops fashion items themed around weaving Japan's history, culture, and traditions into the future. The first release is a silk bomber jacket, a collaboration with "Kimura Sensho," a long-established Kyoto hand-painted yuzen studio.

Kyoto hand-painted yuzen is produced through approximately 14 to 15 processes, including design conceptualization, sketching, paste application, dyeing, and hand-painting. It is a "comprehensive art of dyeing" that includes embroidery and crests. The jacket was finished as an item that combines beauty and high quality, with Kimura Sensho overseeing the entire creative process.

There are seven patterns: 'YUZEN on ROOSTER' (Ito Jakuchu's Rooster), 'YUZEN on DRAGON', 'YUZEN on SKULL' (Kawanabe Kyosai's Skull and Lizard), 'YUZEN on PRINCESS', 'YUZEN on YUI' (Noshi), 'YUZEN on RAKUJU' (Fukusa), and 'YUZEN on MATSU' (Kōgō no Matsu).

Each pattern features an iconic Japanese motif, delicately expressing history and culture.

The presentation held in Kyoto on April 24, 2018 (Tuesday) was attended by a total of 350 people and concluded with great success. Masanaka Sakao, Shinichi Kimura of Kimura Sensho, and Daisaku Kadokawa, the Mayor of Kyoto City, spoke about their respective thoughts on Japanese traditional crafts, making it an event that allowed for a renewed appreciation of the beauty of traditional crafts.

REVEAL PROJECT weaves Japan's history and traditions into the future through fashion. We look forward to its future developments.
