KRISVANASSCHE Unveils a Reinterpreted Tuxedo, “The Tuxedo”

Fashion designer Kris Van Assche and online boutique Thecorner.com have unveiled “The tuxedo,” a contemporary take on the most elegant of suits. It will be available in limited release on Thecorner.com (http://www.thecorner.com/) starting late November.

A Reinterpretation of the Tuxedo with a Sporty Essence

Born in Belgium in 1976, Kris Van Assche, after stints at Yves Saint Laurent and Dior Homme, launched his own label “KRISVANASSCHE” in January 2005. In April 2007, he was appointed Artistic Director of “Dior Homme.”

Jacket ¥109,000, Trousers ¥48,000

This “The tuxedo” was designed by Kris Van Assche for Thecorner.com. It is a limited-edition tuxedo that reinterprets the classic with added sporty elements.

The navy blue, two-button jacket features a contrasting black satin collar. Elegant silhouette is created by waist darts at the back, and the navy trousers with pleats are designed with a black waistband and side
stripes in satin.
