Composed of Two Main Areas

The Paul Smith Fukuoka store reopened on Saturday, March 10th.

Upon entering from the facade, where the window display invites passersby to stop and admire, one is led into the main room, which showcases the new collection, shoes, bags, and accessories such as leather goods, all presented at the 2018 Spring/Summer Paris Fashion Week.

The main room features polished grey concrete floors and striking oak furniture, with two wingback chairs and a side table designed by Paul Smith himself placed in the center.

The walls are adorned with an "Art Wall," displaying paintings and photographs collected by Paul Smith.


Beyond the main room lies a tailoring room with a distinct character. The parquet flooring, made from reclaimed wood used in 1960s British schools, lends a sense of gravitas, while Paul Smith's hand-drawn wallpaper, featuring rabbits peeking out from a grey polka dot pattern, adds a playful touch.

Tables and chairs scattered throughout the shop are primarily European antique pieces, including 1950s Italian dining tables and chairs, and German side tables. These elements are interspersed as accents, adding depth and personality to the interior. The space is finished to be a stylish haven, befitting its role as a hub for expressing the world of Paul Smith. We highly recommend a visit.
