The New "SR Running" Sneaker

Sergio Rossi, a luxury Italian footwear brand, embarked on a new chapter in 2016 with a change in management. While reaffirming the brand's core DNA of quality, craftsmanship, and unwavering reliability, it marked a fresh start.

The "sr1" collection, representing the brand's new era, draws inspiration from its historical archives. "sr1" pays homage to Sergio Rossi's history and brand heritage, while the "1" signifies a new beginning.

For the Spring/Summer 2018 collection, new sneakers were added to the sr1 lineup.




Dubbed "SR Running," the new model is a hybrid sneaker that blends sporty elements like a running-style sole and lightweight, stretchable mesh with materials such as nappa leather, haircalf, and glitter.

The upper features the sr1 collection's iconic long tongue and metal plate, creating a design suitable for everyday wear. Available in five variations, each pair boasts an impressively urban aesthetic.

Pop-Up Stores Featuring Japan-Exclusive Materials

Sergio Rossi is hosting pop-up stores at Isetan Shinjuku and Hankyu Umeda. Different exclusive materials for the "SR Running" and "SR Mary Jane" will be available at each location.

This time, we present the "Silver Glitter" and "Denim" models.

The "Silver Glitter" model uses a finer glitter than before, offering a transparent silver that befits a celebration, adorning the feet with radiance. This is a special item released exclusively at Isetan Shinjuku.






Meanwhile, the "Denim" model focuses on denim, a material highly popular in Japan, presented in a sophisticated dark blue. Crystal studs on the upper combine casualness with luxury. This model is exclusive to Hankyu Umeda.

The pop-up stores will also showcase a wide range of the latest collection, creating a space where visitors can experience this season's theme, "Neo Romantic."
