LACOSTE Holiday Collector's Series 2012: The 7th Edition Features a Crocodile Spiral!

The special edition for men features a large black and white crocodile spiral on the left chest, while the special edition for women boasts a colorful spiral of two crocodiles!—The iconic and unique crocodiles were designed by brothers Fernando and Humberto Campana.

In 2003, Fernando and Humberto, in their quest for new decorative materials, developed a technique of combining and rolling different materials. From flat elements like textiles, carpets, felt, and rubber netting to three-dimensional forms, the resulting colorful swirls were applied to various pieces.





Inspired by the "rolling materials" characteristic of their work, they conceived of sushi, a typical Japanese food. The nickname "Sushi" soon became the title of a collection that included chairs, sofas, tables, poufs, and cabinets.

The fusion of color and fabric became the Campana Brothers' trademark, and their swirling patterns also appear in the LACOSTE Holiday Collector's Series 2012. The crocodile emblems, arranged in a spiral, humorously express the Campana Brothers' "Sushi" style.
