Presenting Special Items and Culture

The selection of items, primarily glasses and sunglasses, spans brands from around the world, both established and independent. Continuer selects brands and items that resonate with the creators' vision and creative sensibilities.

Continuer celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2017, having held various events under the theme of “KEEP EVOLVING,” a theme that has continued since its 10th anniversary.

As a culmination, the “Continuer 15th ANNIVERSARY FAIR” is being held until Saturday, December 30, 2017. It serves as a venue for proposing special items and culture.

Exclusive two-size versions of the classic metal frame “CHARLES” from the esteemed British brand “Oliver Goldsmith,” a brand with deep ties to the shop, are featured. Additionally, exclusive color models based on navy are available for the popular combination frames from “ayame” and “YELLOWS PLUS.”

Furthermore, 15 unique collaboration items, each distinct, from “MASAHIROMARUYAMA” are also prepared, gracing the anniversary year with a diverse lineup.


Among the many collaboration eyewear pieces, the project newly launched for the 15th anniversary is 『／Continuer』.

This initiative is not merely an "exclusive" based on the brand's existing style, but a project that delves into manufacturing in collaboration with various factories and artisans.

The first installment is a collaboration with "Osawa Tortoiseshell," a workshop representing Japan as a maker of tortoiseshell glasses. Respect for tortoiseshell, a historic material for eyewear, with its wonderful luster and tactile quality, led to this project.

For the production, consultation was held with Kengo Osawa, the representative of Osawa Tortoiseshell. Production began from scratch, including the overall image, lens shapes, and selection of material pattern combinations.

Two lens shapes are offered: "Crown," characterized by its edgy upper line and prominent bridge, and "Panto," with its subtly curved eye-line, perfect for women. These are precious eyewear pieces that possess the deep hues, skin-friendly feel, and presence of tortoiseshell.

A commemorative gift will be presented to those who purchase items at the store during the fair period. This is a fair where you can immerse yourself in Continuer's proposed fashionable worldview. We encourage you to visit.
