The "Paperglass Premium Classic Series," which further elevates the fashionability and functionality of the highly portable reading glasses "Paperglass," has won the 2017 Good Design Award.

This model inherits the basic mechanism and excellent portability of previous models, with improvements made to ensure a more comfortable fit and a wider field of vision. Soft parts called "modern" have been attached to the areas of the temples that touch the ears, covering the metal parts. This makes them even easier to put on and take off, evolving into a softer wearing experience. The lens size has been increased, and it is also possible to switch to multi-vision lenses that can accommodate various uses.

The Good Design Award jury commented, "The product has become even more compact than the previous version, demonstrating technological advancement. In particular, the refined style brings a natural ambiance to the wearer's appearance. While conventional 'reading glasses' often prioritize portability and other functions alongside their primary purpose, the aesthetic beauty of the product itself is a given. However, attention to style when worn has sometimes been overlooked. This product proposes a new functional beauty in that regard."

The "Paperglass Premium Classic" was also showcased as a 2017 award-winning design at the "GOOD DESIGN EXHIBITION 2017" held at Tokyo Midtown.
