Focus on Hankyu Umeda Exclusive Special Items and New Original Products
Inside the store, where the interior blends old and new with a towering streetlamp as a symbolic centerpiece, you'll find not only recycled items complete with photos and profiles, but also accessories and leather goods created in collaboration with artists and brands, antique and deadstock jewelry, and an abundance of buttons. A rich tapestry of personal cultures converges here.
The image above is "THE ATTIC: Pulled from the Attic." These are deadstock necklaces, produced in the 80s and 90s for domestic and international markets, selected with PASS THE BATON's unique sensibility and revived with original illustrations and packaging by KIGI (Ryosuke Uehara & Yoshie Watanabe).
The "PASS THE BATON × simmon" series is designed with the concept of "weaving memories." simmon, aiming to create designs that can be etched as new pieces of memory, evoking distant recollections, uses deadstock natural stones and leftover chains from manufacturing, infused with the essence of PASS THE BATON.
"Yuki Sumiya for PASS THE BATON" expresses the concept of PASS THE BATON through the interpretation of contemporary jewelry artist Yuki Sumiya, who gives form to the unseen, visualizing time. It elevates objects like pebbles on a beach and driftwood, marked and transformed by the passage of time, into jewelry.
Additionally, headbands created exclusively for PASS THE BATON by gumit, known for their hair accessories made from vintage fabrics, will be available. The limited-edition Christmas item, "PASS THE BATON × carnet," is scheduled for release on November 23rd (Friday).
