Long-Awaited Flagship Store Opens in Kobe's Former Foreign Settlement

In Kobe's former foreign settlement, an area that has long embraced Western culture through trade and still retains its distinct atmosphere, Burberryhas opened its highly anticipated flagship store. OPENERS is inviting 15 pairs (30 people) of our readers to the opening party.

Limited Edition Items to Commemorate the Opening Also Released

The Kobe store, opening in the former foreign settlement, is the first standalone store in the Kansai region. The store's design, overseen by Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey himself, is said to harmonize beautifully with the charming streets of the former foreign settlement.

Boasting one of the largest selections of imported collections in Japan, alongside the Omotesando and Ginza Marronnier Dori stores, this location will be the only one in the Kansai region to carry the collection line Burberry Prorsum, as well as Burberry London, featuring tailoring and outerwear. Additionally, the store will offer a wide range of products, from classic trench coats and leather goods to accessories such as watches, eyewear, and fragrances. Limited edition items to celebrate the opening are also planned.

At the opening party on Friday, November 16th, guests will not only be able to get an early look at the fully stocked store before the grand opening on Sunday the 18th, but also enjoy a performance by UK band Life In Film, who are part of Burberry's music project "BURBERRY ACOUSTIC." OPENERS is inviting 15 pairs (30 people) to this opening party. Applications are being accepted via the link below until Monday, November 5th.
