A Fusion of High-Top Trainers and Oxford Shoes

Riccardo Tisci took the helm as Creative Director for Givenchy Menswear in the Spring/Summer 2009 collection. Since then, he has consistently pursued the theme of "urban masculinity," blending the essence of sportswear with the classic codes of menswear.

This season, he created an ankle boot inspired by basketball shoes and the laced footwear of Italian gangsters. Crafted meticulously using the Goodyear welt construction for exceptional comfort, the shoe features a wingtip design. The interior utilizes classic perforated fabric, with quilting enhancing the cushioning of the sporty lace-up structure. The materials showcase a contrast between matte and shiny finishes. The leather on the sole's edge is polished to highlight the rich texture of the substantial leather.
