NuGgETS | The Autumn/Winter 2012-13 Collection, Cherishing the Brand's Baseline
NuGgETS|The Baseline
Autumn/Winter 2012-13 Collection
A Collection Rooted in the Brand's Core
NuGgETS (pronounced 'Nuggets') is a menswear brand whose name, derived from the 1972 compilation album curated by Lenny Kaye, guitarist for Patti Smith Group, signifies 'a collection of disparate things' or 'gold nuggets.' The brand offers unique, playful items with an original sense of balance, infused with clever twists and variations.

Fabrics Inspired by the 1950s Lend a Fresh Feel
Ryuhei Koboshi, representative and designer of NuGgETS, states: "The foundation of our design is to create products that allow people to enjoy their everyday lives as 'fashionable.' And 'fashionable' isn't confined to clothing alone; perhaps it's what symbolizes an era in the flow of the world, encompassing various cultures. We don't believe that constantly changing into new clothes is inherently 'fashionable.'"
This season, we've honored NuGgETS' baseline by enhancing the quality of our staple button-down shirts and 'Tekkou' jackets with new fabrics and sewing techniques. The collection as a whole features a fresh approach to fabrics, drawing inspiration from the 1950s.
The collection is brimming with NuGgETS' signature playful spirit and subtle twists: a knit cardigan that appears to be patchwork, a shirt with a fur collar based on a check fabric, and a denim jacket designed to look as if worn inside out. Each piece is deceptively simple at first glance.
The brand also offers 'NuGgETEE,' an offshoot line specializing solely in T-shirts, known for its parodies and pop designs.
