Introducing BURNER Basic's "Ultimate Plain Tee"
Founded in the Spring/Summer 2004 collection by creative directors Kaito Umezawa and Yoshio Hatanaka, "BURNER" is a menswear brand. From "BURNER Basic," launched in Spring/Summer 2010, comes the "ultimate plain tee" – stripped of all decorative design and meticulously crafted for material and comfort.

A Comfortable Plain Tee with a Natural, Lustrous Finish
BURNER presents a new vision of men's casual wear, expressing a unique worldview that balances timeless style with sophistication and a playful spirit. The brand operates with two lines: the main "BURNER" line, and "BURNER Basic," which pursues simple items by stripping away design and focusing on original fabrics, patterns, and sewing.
The "ultimate plain tee" features a 60-gauge jersey knit made from high-quality combed yarn. Knitted densely to ensure uniform stitches, the fabric resists stretching and holds its shape even after repeated washing. This meticulous construction allows for the realization of a pattern that emphasizes the garment's silhouette.
The body is gently shaped to subtly follow the natural lines of the physique, with sleeves set high like a dress shirt for an elegant drape when the arms are at rest. Additionally, a fabric tape is sewn inside the collar to reinforce the neckline, preventing it from losing its shape even after frequent washing.
While often chosen without much thought, the plain tee from BURNER is imbued with considered material, cutting, and details throughout. Its tactile quality and refined silhouette are the result of careful craftsmanship. We invite you to experience it for yourself.
