A Triple Collaboration: nanamica × THE NORTH FACE × Yellow Rat
Items Reflecting a Peaceful Way of Life
THE NORTH FACE, an outdoor brand, and Yellow Rat, a surf brand, resonated with nanamica’s message of “One Ocean, All Lands.” Nine items, created in collaboration with artwork by artist Jeff Canham, will be released on Saturday, June 9.

Focus on the Unique Graphics by a Sign Painter!
“One Ocean, All Lands” is a special message created by Bruce McIntyre, founder of the New Zealand outdoor brand Macpac, to express nanamica’s ethos.
Just as Hawaii is connected beyond Shonan, and California beyond that, this message conveys that “the ocean is one, and the world is connected.” Through this, the triple collaboration proposes a worldview that embraces the globe as one and a peaceful way of life.
Jeff Canham, who was responsible for the artwork this time, entered the University of Oregon at 18 and graduated with a Ph.D. in graphic design. He has held solo exhibitions in New York, Los Angeles, and Yokohama, and currently works as a freelance designer and sign painter.
For “One Ocean, All Lands,” Canham expressed a whale motif and the words “One Ocean, All Lands” in his signature sign format. This new graphic series is certainly worth noting.
As a support for the Great East Japan Earthquake,Great East Japan Earthquakenanamica sent approximately 600 Polartec blankets last March and donated 5% of the sales from “One Ocean, All Lands” products at nanamica stores in fiscal year 2011. This year too,Great East Japan Earthquakea similar donation is planned as the third phase of support.
