The brand "GRIFFIN" is known for its sophisticated items, crafted with a sporty aesthetic in Italian workshops. From the 2012 Autumn/Winter season, they have newly launched "GRIFFIN HARTLAND." Ahead of its full rollout in August, a pop-up shop will open starting in June.

Pop-Up Shop Appears at Seibu Department Store

GRIFFIN HARTLAND, the new brand by British designer Jeff Griffin, recently unveiled its debut collection at the National Stadium. The theme is “Luxury Craftsmanship.” It aims to fuse diverse elements such as contemporary lifestyle, British heritage, sports, modernity, military influences, traditional craftsmanship, and the outdoors.

Jeff Griffin, who launched his own brand GRIFFIN in 1994, gained global recognition for his urban-military-inspired sportswear produced in Italian workshops. Through his design studio, he has also contributed to the designs of numerous international labels.

In 2009, Jeff Griffin left London, where he had lived for many years, and moved to "Hartland Peninsula," a place surrounded by nature in a UK nature reserve. This very location became the wellspring for his new creations.

Griffin's fashion, emanating from a design studio with an attached farm, deliberately created amidst nature away from the city, embodies the simple philosophy of "clothing for lifestyle." It interweaves British tradition and craftsmanship with technology, the outdoors, military aesthetics, and the lifestyle embraced in the natural surroundings of the Hartland Peninsula. This very sense of fusion is what Jeff Griffin pursues with GRIFFIN HARTLAND.

The pop-up shop will feature graphic T-shirts and iconic military pants, among other signature items. The shops will be open for a limited time at Seibu Shibuya Store starting June 5th (Tuesday) and at Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store starting June 20th (Wednesday).
