The Latest Collection's Theme is "MIXOLOGY"

Smith ＆ Hardy, which debuted in Autumn/Winter 2011 and is now in its third season, is the creation of Hideki Fukuzono. This season, with "MIXOLOGY" as its theme, the collection presents a mix of styles, featuring unique color palettes inspired by cocktails.

Inspiration Drawn from "Everyday Life"

Regarding the Autumn/Winter collection, designer Mr. Fukuzono commented, "My inspiration comes from everyday life. I love bars, and especially cocktails, and I found myself thinking a lot while drinking them. The image is of a man who is effortlessly cool. MIXOLOGY, the season's theme, refers to the art of cocktail mixing, and it represents a blend of styles such as military, outdoor, and tailored, using various fabrics, colors, and items."

This season, in particular, the focus is on material selection. Jackets crafted from multi-colored tweed checks using British wool, or houndstooth fabrics blended with wool, silk, and cotton, feature distinctive details in collar fastening, hem length balance, lining application, and chest pockets. The unique color coordination, inspired by cocktails, adds a fresh impact to the relaxed style of the modern man.
