Rugged Yet Light: Clothes That Men Will Intuitively Feel Are "Right"
Wool coats with a lived-in feel from washing, cargo pants made of flannel, and tough, easy-to-move-in tailored jackets inspired by the brand name "WORK" are paired with sarouel pants to create a distinctively mature atmosphere.—The new label, WORK for PLAY, proposes items and styling that skillfully blend work, military, and uniform elements with a playful spirit.
WORK for PLAY NUMERO UNO deliberately tones down the catchiness found in Numero Uno, offering a collection that can be worn subtly while remaining conscious of current trends.
Other noteworthy items include pea coats updated with vintage cowichan knit on the front and leather belts on the collar lining, denim that also uses cowichan knit parts, CPO shirts with a custom feel added by using vintage T-shirts inside the chest pocket flaps, and chino pants where the side stripes are shrunk (fulled) and reinforced with tape on the inside to create an accent when rolled up.
Furthermore, unique collaboration items will also be featured, such as a Guernsey sweater from the British brand "GUERNSEY WOOLLENS," hand-knitted one by one on Guernsey Island, presented in a striped colorway, and a large-scale school scarf from HILLTOP realized in original colors.
