Following the success of its "Beach Soccer" themed 2012 Spring/Summer collection, the menswear casual brand "Birvin Uniform" made a strong debut, with its items carried at Estnation stores in Yurakucho, Roppongi, Ginza, and Nagoya, as well as the second floor of Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building. For its second season, the 2012-13 Autumn/Winter collection, the brand continues to offer unique designs.

The "Man Living by the Sea" is Inspired by a Postman

A man carrying a longboard on an antique bicycle is a postman. On weekdays, he diligently delivers mail, sometimes barked at by dogs, and on weekends, he returns to his childlike self, playing by the sea and freeing himself with his favorite drinks and clothes.—Birvin Uniform proposes a comfortable style, offering a playful take on "standard menswear" inspired by the life of a man living by the sea.

In line with the postman concept, the brand showcases its signature adult wit, featuring details like ink-stained marks on coat pockets and the use of early 20th-century vintage fabrics. While continuing with popular items, materials, and processing from the successful debut Spring/Summer collection, the Autumn/Winter line incorporates seasonal elements.

Furthermore, the shawl collar knit, crafted with over ten colors of yarn for a mixed effect and a distressed appeal, is meticulously finished by hand. The lineup, from outerwear and innerwear to shorts for "wearing in autumn," evokes the wardrobe of a man living by the sea and is already receiving positive feedback.

Though only in its second season, the collection, featuring coats, suit-style jackets, and knits – all with a "scent of the sea" – represents unique adult pieces born from earnest craftsmanship.
