Wrangler's Iconic Piece, Reimagined with ATTACHMENT's Sharp Style
Following the success of its rugged camouflage military items, released in January as Daikan-yama store exclusives, ATTACHMENT now turns its attention to the "27MW," Wrangler's denim western shirt that debuted in the early 1950s. This model, famously favored by Steve McQueen, is renowned for its distinctive diagonal flap on the chest pockets. While retaining its original charm, the design has been cherished by many fans for decades with only minor detail adjustments.
For this collaboration, ATTACHMENT has added darts to the back of the "27MW" and applied sharp cutting techniques to create its signature slim silhouette. True to ATTACHMENT's dedication to fabric, they have used 8-ounce selvedge denim, a reproduction of the original material. The fabric, woven on traditional shuttle looms, exhibits a characteristic uneven fade, allowing for an appreciation of its vintage texture. Furthermore, the label faithfully recreates the 1950s design featuring the familiar blue bell mark, Wrangler's trademark of the era. Even the stitching on the sides has been meticulously reproduced, resulting in a modern denim western shirt filtered through ATTACHMENT's unique aesthetic.
For those who appreciate a classic denim shirt, this special piece is a must-have. It's a rare find that embodies ATTACHMENT's signature simple, sharp, and distinctive style.
