With blue trending this season, focus on the exquisite "blue" unique to true indigo.

Under the concept "Utility Garments For Daily Life," nest Robe CONFECT carefully selects materials, primarily linen. The brand proposes tasteful everyday wear with a unique texture, leveraging the properties and feel of each fabric. For the Spring/Summer 2012 season, the collection is themed "Mr. Midshipman," incorporating marine and navy aesthetics.

While the brand releases linen shirts and coats with indigo blue product dyeing every season, this time, they present collaboration items with LITMUS, an artisan who carries on the traditional Japanese dyeing technique of "Awa Hakkou Taten" (fermented indigo vat dyeing).





The creations with LITMUS are dyed one by one by hand, with the artisan checking the state of the indigo dye, made solely from natural ingredients, by sight and touch. The color sets through repeated dyeing and washing processes to achieve the desired shade of blue. The colorfastness is higher than with regular indigo dyeing, and the beautiful true indigo hue, unique to "Awa Hakkou Taten," is truly worth seeing.

At the INDIGO Fair, in addition to nest Robe CONFECT's proposed three-piece gradient series this season – "jacket, shirt, and shorts" – a Chesterfield coat will also be available. These are limited edition items. Customers who purchase eligible items during the fair will receive a special LITMUS can badge on a first-come, first-served basis. Furthermore, all women's "nestRobe" stores will also feature true indigo-dyed shirts and classic indigo-dyed items by LITMUS.
