Spring/Summer 2012 Collection: Theme is "DUNE ROVER"

"All fields where we wear clothes are outdoors."—The style, built on three elements of design, practicality, and technology, proposes a unique worldview that is independent of trends. White Mountaineering, launched in 2006 by designer Yosuke Aizawa, has now established a firm position as a star brand of Tokyo Fashion Week. In 2011,women's collection "poral."was also announced, and although it has only been a short time since its debut, its popularity is growing each season.




The theme for White Mountaineering's Spring/Summer 2012 collection is "DUNE ROVER." This season, the outdoor field is set in a vast desert, expressing the strength of a man living there. Taking inspiration from the image of the old-fashioned cowboy, the collection incorporates decorative elements into a rugged style, with an emphasis on "dressing up ruggedly."

The new store, where this Spring/Summer collection will be displayed, opens on the 2nd floor of Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building. The four limited edition items created to commemorate this occasion—a vest, T-shirt, cap, and socks—are highly desirable. The new, much-talked-about shop opens on February 1st (Wednesday), so don't miss it.
