Pretty Green x Herbie Yamaguchi Photo Exhibition Held

The "London Chasing the Dream by 2 outlaws" photo exhibition by Pretty Green and photographer Herbie Yamaguchi, who has captured the UK rock scene, is being held at the brand's Aoyama store in Tokyo until Sunday, May 10th. Additionally, a special talk show with Herbie Yamaguchi and special guest stylist Keisuke Baba will be held on Friday, April 24th, starting at 6:30 PM.

London: A Dreamlike City Full of Energy and Beauty

Herbie Yamaguchi moved to London at the age of 23 in 1973 and spent ten years there. He documented the most exciting period of musical transition, from punk rock to new romanticism, capturing children, musicians, the elderly, and the city itself through his lens. For Yamaguchi, who harbored dreams of becoming a photographer, London at that time was a dreamlike city brimming with energy and beauty.

Peter Mcdonnell was born in London in 1962. Punk rock, experienced in his teens, was his very youth. He has since commuted between Tokyo and London, building trusting relationships with numerous musicians and capturing candid moments on stage and backstage.

At the Pretty Green Aoyama store, imbued with the spirit of UK rock, we invite you to experience the vibrant atmosphere of London, from past to present, through the eyes of these two photographers.
