New York native Michael Bastian honed his skills at Sotheby's, Tiffany & Co., and Ralph Lauren, before becoming the Men's Fashion Director at Bergdorf Goodman, a quintessential American luxury department store.

Drawing from this experience, he recognized a demand for "approachable clothing with a modern, luxurious feel" and launched his eponymous brand, Michael Bastian, in 2007. In 2011, he received the prestigious CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year award, celebrating the most accomplished fashion designers in America.



This season, the brand's signature American trad aesthetic is reinterpreted through styles inspired by Arizona, Southern California in the 1970s, and desert landscapes.
