A Store-Exclusive Collection Inspired by Marine Tastes

Following the initial release of "HELLY HANSEN ROYAL MARINE CLUB," which embodies the heritage of the Norwegian marine wear brand HELLY HANSEN, a second collection arrives on March 20th (Friday). It will be exclusively available at the new HELLY HANSEN Kyoto store opening the same day, as well as the brand's Harajuku and Kobe stores, and THE NORTH FACE + Sapporo Factory store.

The "HELLY HANSEN ROYAL MARINE CLUB 2nd Release" collection captures the light, marine-inspired feel of the spring and summer seasons, while also presenting a collection that marks the history of seafaring apparel through authentic details, a signature of HELLY HANSEN.

Introducing the Timeless Basque Shirt

The "R.M.C BASQUE SHIRTS" are a take on the classic Basque shirt, developed from the yarn up using 100% SUVIN cotton, India's finest. It features an exceptionally soft, smooth, and gentle feel against the skin, with a silhouette and pattern designed for comfort. The balance of sleeve and body length is carefully considered, and it's crafted with a narrower, meticulously sewn boat neck than the original. The body is adorned with an elegant striped shirt featuring an etiquette pocket.

A Shirt Crafted from Original Oxford Fabric

The "R.M.C OXFORD SHIRTS" are made from an original Oxford fabric, using the same SUVIN cotton as the striped shirt. The pattern is designed to create a three-dimensional silhouette that follows the body's lines, ensuring ease of movement while maintaining a clean look. The collar, designed with formal wear in mind, exhibits a beautiful roll from the tip to the base. It's finished as a neat, slightly smaller regular collar.

Milan Rib: Combining Functionality and Fashion

The "R.M.C MILANORIB KNIT&SWEN," a novel "knit-sew," is a cut-and-sew garment that feels like a sweater, made with strong cotton yarn. It can be worn year-round and is machine washable at home. The design utilizes knitting techniques not typically found in cut-and-sew items, achieving a seamless, elegant finish at the cuffs and hem.

Focusing on the Functional Beauty of Chino Trousers

The "R.M.C CHINO TROUSERS" are a modern reimagining of the inherent functional beauty of chino trousers. While offering ample room around the waist, they feature a refined taper from the inseam to the hem, resulting in a clean, flattering silhouette. The front and back flap pockets are designed to hold small items like coins, keychains, or a portable shoehorn. The back pocket also includes a pen slot. The front zipper is upgraded with an original nickel-finished 42 TALON, enhancing this classic trouser.
