New MHL. Shops Open at Yurakucho Lumine and Maihama Ikspiari

New shops for MARGARET HOWELL's casual line, "MHL.", will open in March at Yurakucho Lumine in Tokyo and Ikspiari in Maihama, Chiba. Additionally, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Nagoya Lachic commercial facility, MARGARET HOWELL is reissuing a collaboration backpack previously developed with PORTER. It will be released in limited quantities starting Friday, March 6th.

MHL. for Unisex Styling

With "casual" and "tough" as keywords, "MHL." is characterized by designs that leverage the inherent qualities of materials, offering excellent functionality and practicality. This season, accent colors like sunshine and poppy are introduced, primarily alongside ecru, indigo, and black. By coordinating in tone-on-tone palettes, the collection proposes outfits where key colors stand out even more.

The shop's concept is based on three pillars: "functionality of factories," "industrial warehousing," and "systematic storage systems."

To express these three concepts, designer Margaret Howell stated, "I wanted to create a modern, clear interior using appropriate materials. For example, rubber flooring, natural birch plywood, linoleum-covered boards, and white-painted walls." She places great importance on the interior design to convey the brand's worldview.

"It has always been my intention for MHL. clothing to be worn mixed with pieces from the main line. For instance, mixing chino trousers with a sophisticated wool tailored jacket or a fine cashmere sweater..." Why not rediscover the charm of MHL. at the two new stores opening now?

Limited Edition Item Released for "Nagoya Lachic" 10th Anniversary

The "Nagoya Lachic" store offers MARGARET HOWELL's men's and women's wear, as well as household goods. The backpack being released as a limited edition to celebrate its 10th anniversary features a minimalist, simple design. Navy was selected for the color, complementing the blue, which is a key color for the Spring/Summer season.
