The theme for Season #0011 is "tuNINg."
Enjoy clothing through "tuning" that suits the day, the hour, and the place.—For its eleventh season, TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist., helmed by designer Takahiro Miyashita, shifts towards tuning the brand for its next stage.

We want performers to express themselves with various tunings.
TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist.'s Spring/Summer 2015 collection was inspired by the idea that "tuning clothes is akin to playing music."
Covering a well-known original song involves different performers using different instruments, each with their own tuning, leading to unique interpretations. TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist. sends a message: "We want performers to express themselves with their own diverse tunings."
Clothing also needs tuning.
Beyond simply how to combine clothes freely, the collection reflects designer Takahiro Miyashita's belief that "clothing also needs tuning." This involves the wearer actively adjusting themselves through subtle choices—like how many buttons to fasten or whether to cinch the waist with a belt—based on the day, time, and place. This approach not only changes how clothes are worn but also impacts the concept of size and the choices made in utilizing details.
Within TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist.'s garments, no two patterns are exactly alike. The clothing, born from Miyashita's dialogue with numerous fabrics, never yields a single, definitive answer.
The wearer's act of "selecting and adjusting—tuning—the size" of various garments at a given moment is believed to bring a precise, mathematical logic to how clothes are coordinated.
