Introducing the "Nike Air Max 2015"

The latest running shoe, the "Nike Air Max 2015," has been announced, combining a newly developed upper that responds to the foot's dynamic movement with a distinctive full-length Max Air unit for unprecedented soft cushioning. Customization through NIKEiD begins on November 17th, with six colors (three for men, three for women) launching on nike.com from November 28th (Friday). Additional colors are also planned.

Air Max, released annually with new designs

This time, Nike's design team focused on developing an upper that delivers the soft, responsive Air Max cushioning runners love, while also achieving the highest performance in the series.

The "Nike Air Max 2015" and "Nike Women's Air Max 2015" feature full-length, high-performance cushioning and an engineered mesh upper designed with the foot's movement in mind. At 10.8 ounces (306g) for a women's size 8 (25cm) and 12.9 ounces (365g) for a men's size 10 (28cm), they are lighter than previous models, a key appeal.
