Tokyo Midtown Store's First Anniversary Model "WILLIAM II" to be Released November 13th

John Lobb's fifth directly managed store in Japan,the Tokyo Midtown store,will celebrate its first anniversary on December 6th (Saturday). To commemorate this, a limited edition model, "WILLIAM II," will be released starting November 13th (Thursday).

A Special Specification Not Available Through "BY REQUEST"

The commemorative model, released on November 13th (Thursday), the same day Tokyo Midtown's illuminations are lit,──This anniversary model, "WILLIAM II," designed to enhance the festive mood, is based on John Lobb's iconic "WILLIAM," which debuted in 2007. For this occasion, it appears with a unique embellishment.

The "WILLIAM II," a testament to John Lobb's advanced craftsmanship, is a model not typically handled in Japan. Including this special specification, it's a limited edition pair that cannot be ordered even through the familiar "BY REQUEST" service. A key feature is the hand-stitched toe cap.

Includes Shoe Trees Engraved with "Midtown"

Its most distinctive feature is the use of natural-colored stitching to make the footwear stand out in any ensemble. Grey stitching is used for the black suede, and natural stitching for the dark brown. This beautiful stitchwork accentuates the popular double monk strap design.

Furthermore, the sole is John Lobb's original and highly popular rubber October sole. The "WILLIAM × October Sole" combination is also unavailable through "BY REQUEST." The comfortable and durable rubber sole, which wears slowly, offers excellent grip and security, even on wet winter surfaces.

This first-anniversary model, "WILLIAM II," comes complete with shoe trees specifically for the 9795 last, engraved with "Midtown." It's a pair that will surely capture the heart as a memento for yourself in 2014.

In addition to theMarunouchi store limited edition model "LUFFIELD",John Lobb's directly managed stores are also offering shop specials at the Hilton Plaza store in Osaka, the Matsuzakaya store in Nagoya, and the Iwataya store in Fukuoka.
