Ryūichi Oguro, who is in charge of the Men's Shoes section on the B1 floor of Isetan Shinjuku Store, chose CHEANEY's chukka boots as his desired shoe for this season. He explains, "With their storm welt and voluminous, rounded silhouette, they stand out in casual styles. Navy is popular this season, and the antique suede finish is a key feature. These chukkas pair perfectly with tweed jackets."

He also highlighted boots. This year, in addition to smooth leather, there's a wide variety of textured grained leathers. Edward Green, Grenson, and CARMINA each offer unique styles that are perfect for dressing down a jacket. These are definitely shoes to consider.

British-style shoes, such as double monks and chukkas, have been selling well since early autumn, and now a rich lineup of suede and combination materials is available. Enjoy the seasonal feel by pairing slightly casual designs with open lacing, like those with tweed jackets or corduroy pants.

Italian Taste: An Ever-Expanding Variety

Toru Sato, who is in charge of the Men's Shoes section on the B1 floor of Isetan Shinjuku Store, chose MAGNANNI. He comments, "The 'opanke' construction, a signature of Magnanni where the sole is turned up, and the sharp silhouette are captivating. Despite their appearance, they aren't narrow and are light and comfortable to wear. We recommend them to those who love suits and dress shoes."

"Sexy shoes" are synonymous with Italian taste, and this season sees popular side-gore boots in soft colors like beige and gray, as well as shoes featuring techniques like the 'aburidashi' (scorched finish) in Italian classic styles. In addition to the highly popular dress shoes, there's a range of designs that work with everything from suits to military pants.

Modern Taste: A Strong Push for Fashionable "Black"
