The Largest Store in Western Japan, Expressing the Brand's Worldview

G-Star RAW is a brand from Amsterdam, Netherlands. Popular for its denim items, which feature unique materials and treatments, the brand pioneered the use of 3D tailoring techniques in jeans. In September of this year, they released the collection "Raw for the Oceans" featuring artist Pharrell Williams, and their unique initiatives focused on environmental issues are still fresh in our minds.

The brand's first shop in Kyushu, "G-Star RAW Store Fukuoka," will open on Friday, November 7th, in Tenjin Daimyo, Fukuoka. A distinctive feature of this store is the human-shaped displays that allow customers to visually understand the design and silhouette of the brand's signature denim in three dimensions. You can find the perfect pair from an extensive lineup for both men and women.

For the Autumn/Winter 2014 season, denim in deep, dark hues based on black is introduced. We encourage you to try on and experience the different tones of black items, from glossy fabrics to semi-matte finishes, using the displays as a guide. Additionally, this year marks the 10th anniversary of the collaboration model "g-star raw by marc newson" with product designer Marc Newson. Limited edition items, including blousons featuring his graphic patches, are scheduled to be released at this shop.
