Dupont, celebrating its 142nd anniversary, and Japan's leading rock artist Eikichi Yazawa is set to be released in mid-November.

Favored by many historical figures such as Napoleon III and Empress Eugénie,Humphrey Bogart and Audrey Hepburn, world-renowned actors, designers, andEiichiro Oda, author of the manga "ONE PIECE", S.T. Dupont has announced collaborations with various figures.
This marks the first collaboration with a Japanese musician for S.T. Dupont, featuring Eikichi Yazawa.


The "Eikichi Yazawa × S.T. Dupont Lighter (EY 65th anniversary)" announced this time is handcrafted. Finished in genuine black lacquer and palladium, it features the "Z" symbol mark of Eikichi Yazawa on the front and is engraved with "65th anniversary Eikichi Yazawa" on the side.
It is housed in a premium box with an embedded plate engraved with the serial number and Eikichi Yazawa's signature, and will be released in mid-November.

YAZAWA Eikichi
Debuted in 1972 as the leader of the rock band "Carol." In 1977, he became the first Japanese solo rock artist to perform at the Nippon Budokan, followed by a concert at Korakuen Stadium in 1978, creating a massive "Yazawa boom" with his book "Nariagari." In 2007, he achieved the unprecedented feat of 100 performances at the Budokan. In 2012, he celebrated his 40th anniversary, releasing his first original album in two years, "Last Song," on August 1st, and holding the 40th-anniversary live concert "EIKICHI YAZAWA 40th ANNIVERSARY LIVE 'BLUE SKY'" at Nissan Stadium on September 1st. On May 15, 2013, he released his first all-time best album, "ALL TIME BEST ALBUM," which topped the Oricon weekly charts. From November 16, 2013, he embarked on the EIKICHI YAZAWA CONCERT TOUR 2013 "ALL TIME HISTORY -A DAY-" across 8 locations and 14 performances nationwide, updating his record for the most Nippon Budokan performances to 127. On December 24th and 25th, he held his first dinner shows, EIKICHI YAZAWA SPECIAL NIGHT "Dreamer" in GRAND HYATT TOKYO.
