The Largest Shop Within a Commercial Facility Debuts

MARGARET HOWELL SHOP & CAFE Futakotamagawa is a spacious 73-tsubo (approx. 240 sqm) store based on the store design of the flagship "Jinnan" store. The expansive single floor, free of partitions and steps, evokes the atmosphere and comfort of a "street-level shop."




In addition to a comprehensive selection of fashion items, fitting for Futakotamagawa's many families, the store offers an abundance of household goods, including furniture specially ordered and reissued from the familiar "Ercol" company, "Anglepoise" lamps, enamelware collaborating with Noda Horo, and Sori Yanagi cutlery. You can also purchase the cutlery used in the cafe on the spot. The cafe itself features a different coordination of tables and chairs than the Jinnan store, and these chairs are also available for purchase.

A Cafe Featuring the First Deli Counter is Also a Highlight

The cafe, the third in Japan after Jinnan and Osaka, follows the "modern British style" based on the Jinnan store, with 40 seats in a space that benefits from natural light on clear days.




The cafe, equipped with its first deli counter, offers food and drinks that blend British traditional cuisine with French and Italian elements, popular at the Jinnan store. The "Vegetable Pasty," a popular lunch menu item, is a common British pie dish, a healthy seasonal dish made with slowly sautéed vegetables encased in pastry. It can be enjoyed as part of the "Lunch Set" (with soup and drink, ¥1300).




In addition to lunch set menus like the "Chicken Sandwich" and "Bacon Sandwich" (¥1200), there is also a "Children's Lunch" (¥750) available.

Quality Champagne and Wine to Complement Cafe Fare

Given the location in Futakotamagawa, the cafe now offers children's menus and an expanded selection of champagne and wine to allow for leisurely dinners. The list includes authentic champagne (pictured: "Charles Osman") available by the bottle for ¥6500, red wine (organic wine from the Rhône region of France) for ¥3500, and white wine (Chardonnay from Burgundy, France) for ¥6000, all offering exceptional value rarely found in typical cafes.



The cafe also introduces sweets and a "TAKEAWAY" service for deli items for the first time. There is also a dedicated "TAKE AWAY LUNCH BOX," perfect for lunch or for taking along on a stroll by the Tama River.
