Introducing the Nike Air Max Lunar1

Four new models for men and women have arrived, combining the heritage of Air Max technology with the lightweight, innovative Nike Lunar foam. They will be available starting Saturday, July 5th, on NIKE.COM and at select Nike retailers. The original colorways (red/white, blue/white) of the Air Max 1, which debuted in 1987, will be released on Tuesday, July 15th.

More than two decades later, in 2008, Nike Lunar technology redefined cushioning, delivering a new era of comfort and support with an unprecedentedly responsive foam ride. This is still fresh in our memory.

The Sole Takes Center Stage

The Nike Air Max Lunar1 features a sole with a visible window, boldly accented with neon colors. A distinctive wavy line of Nike Lunar foam runs diagonally, making the sole the focal point of the shoe's design and adding a fresh feel to its iconic shape.

Furthermore, the innovative no-sew construction eliminates overlapping panels while preserving the classic silhouette and the shoe's signature details.

With breathable mesh panels and a focus on lightness and comfort in every aspect, we're eager to experience the feel of the Air Max Lunar1.
