Lakota, the sole general importer of Alden in Japan, which has a 15-year history in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo, has opened a select shop, "Lakota House," in Osaka. Its greatest appeal is the extensive collection of high-end shoes, including Alden. Also noteworthy are the repair services using genuine parts and the display of valuable archives. Here, we introduce the highlights of the "Lakota House Osaka Store," which has opened in Minami-Senba.

A Collection Coveted by Alden Enthusiasts
The interior of the "Lakota House Osaka Store" is truly substantial. Spanish marble is used for the floors, and Belgian bricks for the walls. The natural material-focused interior, with its leather sofas of exquisite height and cushioning for comfortable shoe fitting, is sure to capture your attention first. The ceiling is also 3 meters high, allowing for an enjoyable shopping experience in an open space.
In addition to a full lineup of Alden shoes, the store also carries Lakota's original brands, such as "PEGMAN," a shoe brand employing the hand-sewn welted method by skilled craftsmen, and "K.T.LEWISTON," which offers accessories like belts. The unique selection also includes German leather goods brand "KREIS."
The product selection is, of course, extensive. As Lakota's directly managed shop, it offers exclusive custom models for Alden and even one-of-a-kind items released in the past. Shoe care items, such as shoe trees, brushes, waxes, and creams, are also available, essential for any shoe lover.
A corner designed like a museum, with pale white bricks on the walls exuding elegance, displays discontinued Alden masterpieces. Shoes worn by staff are also exhibited as a reference for how they age over time.
In the center of the shelves, a hand-knitted basket by the wife of Alden's vice president, gifted for this opening, is also on display. It can be seen as a symbol of the trust that Lakota, as the sole general importer, has built.
