Y's Materials Meet Stan Smith's Simple Design

Adidas has partnered with five Asian designers/brands to release five collaboration shoes based on the Stan Smith, as part of the "Consortium STAN SMITH Collaboration Pack." The fifth installment in this series is the "Stan Smith Y's."

While maintaining the Stan Smith's simple silhouette, the shoe incorporates multiple materials unique to Y's: thick black canvas on the upper's side panels, grey suede for the eyelets and heel tabs, and white smooth leather for the toe and tongue.



Furthermore, the three stripes on the side feature zigzag hand-stitching, with the thread intentionally left long to fray as the shoes are worn.

The Stan Smith logo is placed on the heel tab, while the Y's logo is prominently featured on the tongue. The distinct character of these Stan Smith Y's is truly noteworthy. We encourage you to see them for yourself.
