──What is the theme/concept for the Spring/Summer 2014 collection?

Various embroidery, including bijou embellishments, expresses the sparkle of dew and the depth of the night. The sheen of fabrics in various textures evokes the moonlight in the night's darkness.

We express the story of a night illuminated by a special moonlight, which inspired the collection, through materials treated with diverse techniques.

──What are the differences from last season's Spring/Summer collection in terms of styling, silhouette, and color?

Last season's Spring/Summer collection, with its theme incorporating floral elements called ‘bloom,’ had an overall feminine feel in its styling, silhouette, and colors. This season, under the theme ‘UNDER THE JUICY MOON,’ we present a dark fantasy world that is characteristic of DIET BUTCHER SLIM SKIN, while maintaining a romantic atmosphere.

──What are the key looks (outfits) this season?

A setup of a blouson and shorts made from original faux leather, embroidered to express the depth of the night. For the inner layer, a blue shirt, which is also the brand color of DIET BUTCHER SLIM SKIN.
The main piece is a jacket made from original typewriter fabric, featuring circular embroidery inspired by the moon and dew, creating an all-white coordinate that seems illuminated by moonlight.



──What are the key items and key colors?

This season features original all-over patterned blousons and shorts with BLACK PANTHER and HORNED OWL as the main graphic elements.
A spring-like knit cardigan with varying stripe widths and a sheer texture.
A new model of the highly popular sneakers released each season. This time, it's a high-end model finished with a patchwork of various high-quality leather materials and playful details like ribbon tape for the shoelaces.

──What materials did you focus on this season?

Original fabrics featuring circular embroidery inspired by the moon and dew, applied to various materials such as pinstripe, typewriter cloth, and botanical and night safari patterns.


──What are your personal goals for 2014, both professionally and privately?

I plan to buy a new motorcycle and ride it again after a long time.
