100th Anniversary Collection "BROOKS HERITAGE"
Founded in 1914 in Philadelphia, USA, Brooks introduced the world's first EVA sole in 1975. Reborn in 2001 as a brand specializing in running shoes and apparel, and becoming the top-selling brand in American running specialty stores in 2011, the running shoe brand "BROOKS" has undergone many transformations. Now, its heritage footwear collection, "BROOKS HERITAGE," celebrating its 100th anniversary, is set to be released.

A Vintage Collection Celebrating the "Run Happy" Spirit
Brooks gained significant attention with the development of the EVA sole, which greatly reduced the impact on the feet during running. Products equipped with the EVA sole were ranked second in the shoe rankings of "Runner's World," America's most famous running magazine, in 1975, solidifying Brooks' position as a top running shoe brand in both name and reality.
Developed based on cutting-edge ergonomics and sports medicine, Brooks running shoes are industry leaders not only for their lightness and durability but also for their "sports medical" policy of protecting runners' feet through shock absorption, coupled with their superior development capabilities.
This year marks the company's 100th anniversary. Following the release of the "BROOKS HERITAGE" footwear collection, a new headquarters will be completed near downtown Seattle in May, with the world's first "BROOKS STORE" also scheduled to open.
The "Vanguard" model, featured in the Brooks Heritage lineup, was released in 1976. With its authentic, clean design and the iconic T-line on the toe, it encapsulates the essence of the 1970s running boom through its classic styling.
This iteration uses pigskin for the upper and adopts the world's first three-layer EVA sponge sole. Not only is the highly grippy, suction-cup-like "Octopi" outsole revived, but the V-shaped, textured chevron logo and the accent color on the heel tab are also faithfully reproduced.
Additionally, the "Vantage" model was the first shoe to receive the prestigious 5-star award from "Runner's World" magazine for two consecutive years. This historic model is known for its patented "Varus Wedge," which was the first to offer different widths (wises) to accommodate all foot types.
It features an upper made of nubuck leather combined with flexible and breathable mesh, and an outsole that achieves both shock absorption and durability by landing on the apex of a triangle.
