The Annual Theme for 2014 is "Imagine"
Designer Masaharu Urushiyama describes the focus of this season's lookbook shoot as "reality and unreality." This season sees the addition of the brand's first black items to the wardrobe.

Imagining (Creating) Multiple Things from One
──What is the theme/concept of the 2014 Spring/Summer collection?
The annual theme is "IMAGINE." It's not about imagining (creating) one thing from one, but imagining (creating) multiple things from one.
──What are the differences from last year's Spring/Summer collection in terms of styling, silhouette, and color?
We are showing more styles (coordinations) than last time.
──What are the key looks (coordinations) this season?
All of them.
──What are the key items and key colors?
This season, URU is using black for the first time, a color we haven't used before.
──What "materials" did you focus on this season?
I put my heart into everything, doing each thing as carefully as possible, so I have affection for all of them.
──Please tell us your personal goals for 2014, whether work-related or private.
I will continue to build upon my experience with the same approach as always.
