Regarding the points of focus for this season's look shoot, designer Manabu Yaegashi states, "While maintaining the essence of LOUNGE LIZARD, we aimed for looks that clearly convey the spirit of this season." His signature sharp and smart styling is further refined.

—What is the theme/concept for the 2014 Spring/Summer collection?

We haven't set a specific theme.

—What are the differences in styling, silhouette, and color compared to last year's Spring/Summer collection?

Centering on our signature tight tailored jackets and leather blousons, many of the pieces are clean-lined overall. Coats and jackets made from jersey material are also a feature this season.

—What is the key look (coordination) for this season?

The coordination used in the image cut (monochrome) is the key look.

—What are the key items and key colors?

In addition to black, which is our brand color, we have navy and bordeaux.

—What "materials" were you particular about this season?

The "FINX CHINO" and "FINX WEATHER" materials with a masculine texture, and waffle material for a relaxed feel.

—What are you paying attention to in the current fashion scene?

Nothing in particular. We are always thinking about what is most "LOUNGE LIZARD-like" at any given time.

—Please tell us your personal goals for 2014, whether work-related or private.

To remain steadfast and dedicate myself sincerely to the craft of making clothes.
