In the "MH PLUS" collaboration project, previous partners have included industrial design specialistsKenneth Grangeand Sam Hecht. The third collaboration featured garden and landscape designerDan Pearson, who was chosen as a collaborator.

This year, the fourth collaboration partner is Georgina Von Etzdorf, known for her unique fabric designs. Georgina's intuitive talent as a colorist is evident in her work. While her direction differs from Margaret Howell's aesthetic, she possesses a deep understanding and love for color. Margaret is thrilled about this collaboration with Georgina.

"When Georgina came to my studio, she brought West Country biscuits and an old pajama jacket. Her face was alight with enthusiasm. I first met Georgina in 1977 at her university show. She hasn't changed much since then. At the time, I was impressed by her use of color and painterly approach. Years later, I was one of her early customers, selling her hand-painted silk scarves at St Christopher's Place," says Margaret Howell.

"This shirt will be part of my life. I'll fill it with things I carry around: paint boxes, brushes, sketchbooks, unusual sweets, and fluffy treats. As I travel a lot, I like clothes made with durable materials, colors, and textures, with easy-to-use pockets. And I like loose-fitting clothes that can be layered," says Georgina Von Etzdorf.

Margaret Howell continues, "Georgina is someone who has succeeded through color. Color is her nourishment and an element of her unique talent and character. Known as a fabric designer, her signature is designs finished with rich colors printed on silk and velvet."

Like the three previous collaboration partners, she has incorporated her distinct ideas into practical garments. This shirt jacket is comfortable, durable, long-lasting, and suitable for both men and women.

"We started with Georgina's favorite, well-worn pajama top. The pajama jacket is like a blank canvas onto which she paints her designs. We've incorporated Georgina Von Etzdorf's original prints into the contrasting piping, the dark navy corduroy pockets, and the scattered patterns on the chest pocket. Finally, we added a touch of deep crimson," says Margaret.

Georgina adds, "This shirt jacket, inspired by practical clothing and classic pajamas, features vivid lines outlining the jacket with two layers of piping. The original 'Georgina Von Etzdorf' painted fabric is used for the chest pocket. I am honored to work with Margaret and her team, who prioritize exquisite quality and detail."
