Christian Louboutin has launched a new bespoke service to create unique and unparalleled footwear. This service allows customers to have motifs from their own tattoos, or motifs designed by Christian Louboutin, recreated on their shoes through embroidery.

"In design, the beauty of delicate embroidery and a deep respect for craftsmanship are essential," says Christian Louboutin. For this service, special spaces called "Tattoo Parlors" have been created within the men's boutiques in Paris, London, New York, and Los Angeles, featuring handmade leather walls and masculine decor. Customers can create unique, one-of-a-kind bespoke shoes by having motifs from their own tattoos, or motifs designed by Christian Louboutin, meticulously recreated on their shoes through fine embroidery.

The concept of tattoos was inspired by the designer's own admiration for tattoo art. "Tattoos are a part of a person's life, like armor or a coat of arms. I thought it would be more modern to have one's own emblem on one's own shoes, rather than someone else's emblem on a loafer. This is my modern approach to the classical bespoke services for shoes that other brands are already offering," explains Christian Louboutin.

The "Tattoo Parlor" embroidery service is by appointment only. Throughout the entire process until the shoes are completed, a bespoke service representative will cater to the customer's requests. Customers can choose from a variety of men's shoe models, from the sporty sneaker "Louis" to the elegant loafer "Henri." A new model, "Nigel," specially designed for this service, is also available. Customers can select not only the material and color but also choose from three different embroidery techniques: black and silver only, colored threads, or colored threads with beads. The ordered shoes are embroidered by skilled artisans and delivered to the customer approximately three months after the order is placed.

Furthermore, this service is also available for women's shoes. Customers can choose from four models: the flat shoe "Rollergirl," the sneaker "Louis," the elegant ankle boot "Belle," and the high heel "Highness." Prices range from $1,060 to $4,000 for both men's and women's shoes, varying based on material, embroidery type, and motif dimensions.

Customer's own tattoo motifs are first turned into patterns at the Paris studio and then sent back to the client for confirmation that the design is faithfully reproduced. It seems that a satisfactory bespoke shoe will be completed.
