Comfortable wear based on classic designs is a standout feature
Founded by Garance Broca, who previously handled knitwear for Balmain and Hermès, "Monsieur Lacenaire" creates witty knitwear imbued with Parisian esprit. Though it debuted only in Autumn/Winter 2011-12, the brand quickly gained attention with the global hit of its "TEDDY KNITTED ALPACA VARSITY JACKET," a stadium jacket-style knit made from alpaca sourced from Peru.
This spring's "TEDDY" features rare Egyptian cotton. The back is adorned with a cable knit detail, and wood buttons add a touch of accent. Produced in Portugal, the silhouette offers a clean, flattering fit that is highly recommended. Additionally, the spring-appropriate crewneck knit "Pierrot" and V-neck cardigan "Jules" are also available in Egyptian cotton.
Furthermore, leveraging the perspective of a female designer, alongside men's knitwear with a subtle touch of playfulness, this season marks the debut of "Casimir," a jodhpur-style trouser. Knit accents on the pocket openings showcase the brand's signature style. The "Merlin" chinos, featuring a knit waistband, are also noteworthy.
