A Limited Edition Series Inspired by "Gundam"

The STRICT-G x Onitsuka Tiger Collaboration Sneakers are based on the "MEXICO 66 DELUXE," a standard model from Onitsuka Tiger's popular "NIPPON MADE" series. They are available in three colors, inspired by the Mobile Suits of the original Gundam, Zaku II, and Char's Zaku.

The outer forefoot of the upper features the mobile suit's unit number for each color, while the heel flap is embroidered with the emblems of the Earth Federation Forces and the Principality of Zeon.





Furthermore, Japanese artisans have applied a "weathering" technique, typically used in plastic model making, to the sides of the upper and outsole. This creates a natural aged look, simulating wear from rust, sand, and dust. Additionally, a "garment wash" process imparts wrinkles and a unique texture, reminiscent of well-worn shoes, adding to their appeal.
