Their reputation for superior craftsmanship quickly led to nationwide distribution within just a few years.

The brand name "SKOOKUM" originates from a Native American word meaning "the best" or "unique," preserving the legacy of robust American workwear. Every step, from the weaving of the yarn for the ribbing to the cutting of the leather for the sleeves and the patterns used, has remained unchanged since the company's inception, ensuring the continued production of high-quality items.
